How do credits work?
Every plan comes with one monthly credit balance for all tools, billed in 30-second steps of finished video: 5 credits per 30 seconds for a documentary with real footage, 10 for an AI video with images and camera motion, and 20 for an AI video with real animation. Mix them any way you like.
What's the difference between AI images and AI animation?
Both are fully illustrated videos with your own character, narration, captions, maps and title cards. AI images brings each illustration to life with smooth camera moves and effects. AI animation goes further: characters and scenes actually move in the key moments (walking, talking, reacting). Animation takes longer to make and uses more credits.
Is Create with AI included in my plan?
Yes. Create with AI is available on all paid plans: Starter, Pro, Studio and Agency, in both modes (images or real animation). It uses the same credit balance as documentary videos.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New accounts get 2 free minutes on the documentary tool to try it end to end. No credit card needed. Create with AI unlocks on any paid plan.
How is video length billed?
Every video is billed by its finished length in 30-second steps, rounded up to the next step: 5 credits per 30 seconds for documentaries (10 per minute). A 30-second Short uses 5 credits, a 49-second video 10, and a 1:10 video 15. AI videos use 10 (images) or 20 (real animation) credits per 30 seconds.
How many thumbnails do I get?
YouTube thumbnails have their own monthly allowance, separate from credits: Starter 15, Pro 35, Studio 60, Agency Custom.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes, any time from Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately with the new credits added; downgrades and cancellations apply at the end of the current billing period.
Are shot replacements charged?
No. Swapping documentary clips or redrawing animated shots before export is free. Credits are only charged for the final length of new videos.
Do natural narrators cost extra?
No. The full library of natural narrators is included in every plan at no extra credit cost, on both tools.
What is the Agency plan?
Our maximum plan for agencies and networks producing hundreds of videos a month: custom credits, team seats, dedicated rendering capacity and invoice billing. Contact us and we'll set it up around your volume.
What happens to a video that fails?
Every video is quality-checked before delivery. If one can't be finished on our side, its credits go back to your balance automatically.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are monthly and you can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the billing period.
